Shallow Grave

I haven't seen this movie in quite a while, but I have been listening to Ryan Tubridy's Full Lounge, and the song 'Happy Heart' by easy listening guru Andy Williams. Now what the hell has that to do with Shallow Grave, well, it is the song that is played at the end as Alex is lying on his kitchen floor laughing and then it all goes blue. ANYWAY, fun song, brilliant film, if you want to laugh. Gotta love the humour, it is so dark.

So from Shallow Grave, directed by Danny Boyle, later of Trainspotting and The Beach fame, bleh oh, and 28 days later, we then get Happy Heart, which is all about love and nothing to do with the movie, its so ironic it makes my skin all electric-y.

Some thoughts:

--Starting to feel a littl unloved?--"When was the last time you heard these exact words: "You are the sunshine of my life"?

--For the Goth in you--"When you get up in the morning, how do you decide what shade of black to wear?"

--Charity Event?--"You didn't tell me that this was for children. I hate children. I'd raise money to have the little fuckers put down. I want me money back!"

--Well isn't it true!--"But Juliet, you're a doctor. You kill people every day."
